Business Cards are small pieces of paper board that is typically printed with a name, a profession, a company name and contact information of the person owning the card specifically a phone number. In comparison with old versions of Business Cards, nowadays, Business Cards also contain other information such as an email address or a website URL for faster means of communication.

Business Cards are traditionally given on formal business meetings especially when the two parties who just met need to be in contact with each other mostly regarding business matters. Before, monochrome Business Cards are widely used due to their formal and professional appearance. But nowadays, Business Cards color has diversified and its play of hues and shades commonly relied on what type of company the card owner possesses or works for.

Businesses that deal with food used a combination of red and black colors whose mixture are believed to invite and enhance food appetite. Fashion businesses make use of chic colors such as pink, purple and light green in their Business Cards for a more inviting appearance. Others made use of visual representations such as drawings or pictures. Some companies use their trademark hues in their Business Cards for instant recognition of the company even before the recipient reads the information in the card.
